most of our classmates found out that he's been dating one of them.Faking at best. 🙄
Why? It takes a certain level of class to only be dating one girl, even if she has a rep for being slutty.* The guys I know who dated slutty girls generally juggled multiple ones at the same time and seemed incapable of not cheating on their official girlfriend.
Though on the slutty girl front, I met a guy from middle school a two years back (he just finished grad school), and he was telling me how he dated a girl with a total rep for being slutty and that he didn't get anything from her. (Didn't even know her reputation, actually.)
In middle school, my twin brother was the fangirl fave, (and he was friends with the rest of the popular guys), so it kept me on good terms with most of the girls in my class some of the time.

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a fangirl myself. I will coo and ooh and ah over a good-looking member of the male species. I will probably fantasize over him for many hours after I see him. And I'll admit that I know more than a few girls like that at my school.
But I don't think it's much like the fangirls in manga. No, they're more like very perverted, stalker-like girls.
It's all good tho. The only guys the girls at my school fangirl over are mainly korean popstars(____ SHIN WOOOOO) and other celebs.
BTW. Fangirl-ing has reached an all new low:

Not that I know. I wasn't active at all in school so I never knew if there was a fanclub... not that there were cute guys... .___.

Once my group of friends made a fan club for a really introverted, unpopular guy. We pooled our money to send him over a dozen carnations with ridiculous messages like "your eyebrows are enticingly luscious!" for Valentine's Day and stuck anonymous pictures of hearts and beavers into his locker.
Hahaha, that sounded more like bullying.
On topic, no... I don't think so. Or I wasn't aware of it. O_O
