the manga explodes like the shikon shards

The last chapter seems to indicate that the end is getting quite near. I just hope Takahashi isn't messing with us.

I can see it now. Kagome's powers return and she aims at the jewel, only to break it all over again 😲

(i mean, come on, he's a half demon... he'd probably was still alive but couldn't interfere with the jewel quest!) ... blah blah blah... they hug and there's happy!

that's the kind of ending i think is probably going to happen!

Naraku and Kikyo die. Kagome marries Inuyasha and have kids. Sango and Miroku also have kids. Kagome decides to live in Inuyashas world and lives happily ever after!

It won't end. Once the jewel is almost completed, it'll shatter again somehow, thus starting the series over again. This will go in an endless loop.

As long as there's some sort of actual ending, I think I'll be satisfied. Ranma's non-ending made me throw the book across the room. I gave up on Inuyasha around book 32, but at least (at that point) it was only somewhat repetitive, instead of outright stupid like that fois gras arc in Ranma.

I always thought Inuyasha would die and be reincarnated in Kagome's time (bowiing out with some sappy line like, "we'll always be together" or "I'll always be with you"), Kikyo would die and her soul would go back to Kagome. Miroku and Sango will continue to live in the past and get together; Shippo will live with them. Naraku will die somehow and Sesshomaru and Rin live together forever. The end. I doubt it'll be something that happy though. But I can wish. (I've been hoping Inuyasha would just die and be reincarnated for a while now. Kikyo needs to stop coming back; I want her to die; it's getting ridiculous. I never even attempted reading the manga, the anime was enjoyable yet painful enough.) What if Kikyo and Inuyasha live happily together after making the wish that Kikyo comes back and they are both reincarnated at Kagome and some other dude? Whatever, who knows what kind of end, or not end, this will have. I refused to buy the last volume of Ranma (after saving up for it) after reading the last page. I hope the mangaka doesn't mess me up again.
Loved the anime, but I must say the ending pissed me off. I woke up at one o'clock in the morning just for that episode. Though I had gotten the wrong one. Boy did I feel stupid when I found out that really was the last episode.

Finally Kagome's powers are back. I really want her to FINALLY actually be useful and just totally pwn Naraku somehow with her fully released spiritual powers.

Of course thats not going to happen and its going to be Inuyasha having to save her a couple more times before this ends. Oh well, I doubt it will take more than 10 chapters till the series is finally finished.

Hmm, well, it will probably end like ranma, nothing gained and everything lost 😛 . I kinda want it to end with the oddities, naraku's been dead for 5 years, kagome and inuyasha ends up married and is being visited by miroku and sango. Kagome is seen with a human inuyasha and is cradling a baby girl in her arms named kikyo (or a baby boy with a spider birthmark on his face). 🤣

I gave up reading after maybe 6 or so volumes I cant even rememeber (oh and some anime but I can't remember when I stopped that aswell). My version of a perfect happy ending: Kikyo dies . . . finally . . . and is never heard or seen from again. Frankly I don't even care how they do it, she was worse than Naraku at never friggin dieing from what I recall. Then some horribly anti-climactic death of Naraku (maybe he chokes on a fish bone or something).
