Girl, read both BL and GL, but only the ones that have an actual story and aren't just porn from beginning to end.

I dunno about lots, but I don't particularly avoid either of those. (I do have yoai highlighted, but I highlight lots of things)

Yeah. While I don't really mind it in real life (we have a gay guy in our clique of 4 dude), I'm one of those straight dude who excluded the yaoi and shounen-ai genre in a search. But, I too excluded Yuri, shoujo ai, and gender bender. It just not my cup of tea.

I avoid both, but that's more because I avoid most romance series.

I believe blacklisting a series because it has homosexuality is a bad decision.
There are gems in every genre, so people who do it miss a lot of good series.

I avoid all BL and GL series... Just can't bring myself to read such series. I might read shojo-ai in near future... but unlikely.

I've read some shoujo-ai and even a bit shounen-ai, but I generally avoid them. I don't really mind it if it's homosexual side characters etc. but I dislike it if it's the main theme.
Not that I read that many series that consist solely of romance anyway. But as a guy I must admit that I'd rather read shoujo-ai.

i'm a typical fujoshi, i read loads and loads of yaoi. but in my defense, as a shotacon its so friggin hard to find straight shota - i really prefer that since that have far better plots, but beggars can't be choosers.

It is OK as a one-time episodic sex experiment, but I don't like it then it escalates to the point of being a Romance.

I'm a guy, and while I don't read yaoi or shonen-ai, and do read the occasional yuri or shojo-ai manga. Key words in that last part is "the occasional". The poll only gives the option of saying I either avoid both types, or read a lot of yuri/shojo-ai. I don't read a lot of it, but I do read some.
