Hey y'all, so I am looking for a manga that I read a while ago.I don't remember how many chapters it had but I am sure it could be around 4 to 12, I don't think it has more than that.
The story was about a girl and a kitsune boy that promise to marry each other when they grow up.Of course they were only children at the time, and so the girl goes away for many many, years, I think she was visiting someone at the time or something.She comes back to this place, and meets him there, without remembering anything about him.

Turns out his grandfather, also a kitsune, erased her memory

It doesn't take long until she's interested in him, and you can tell the rest right? They fall in love,( though he never forgot her) yadda yadda, and then of course, he asks her to marry him, which she wants to, but there's a ton of things to take in consideration, such as they are from different worlds blah blah, and in the end, which was unexpected to me

they didn't end up together. It was refreshing but also made me sad .

Other things I recall that might help (or not)

• The girl goes through torii gates all the time, and on the other side she sees a bunch of other kitsunes.
• I am not sure if she was invited, but I recall her being in the wedding of his sister ( who later on shows up pregnant)
• There's a rival,a kitsune girl.

That's it, I hope someone recognizes this manga. While I am at it, please recommend any similar manga lmao. I specially like when it's a wolf or a fox spirit.I have read/or watched:

I have read a lot with youkai/deities/gods as the male lead, but I can't write them all right now, but feel free to recommend any with this or even with other non-humans such as Niehime to kemono no ou, Mahoutsukai no yome, etc. Even something like Black Bird would be ok.

I found it! It's Kitsune no Yomeiri (Chiyori).

Also, I still would be glad to receive recommendations like I asked above.
