I work at the University of Utah where Sarcos is located and I have seen them testing this exoskeleton outside. It is pretty cool to watch them walk around in it, I did get to see him navigate some stairs on it as well.

Actually, I doubt that guy plays video games at all.

I heard of his Grizzly suits as far back as the late 90's, before the first Halo.

This guy develops stuff like this for a living. It's only natural to assume he played Halo and stole the idea, but if ya think about it, this is natural progression. Current soldiers all have some form of standard body armor, so it's only natural a form of battle suit would be in the works.

I think this ones not getting used mostly because of Dragon Skin, which is a body armor that can withstand a point blank detonation from a M67 fragmentation grenade (Its important to note this test was done on a single piece of armor that had already been used to (and defended against) a AK-47, a MP5, and a M4 Carbine), making it the best body armor currently avaliable.
