Sorry, this is my first poll 😀 , but I didn't find something like this when I searched 😢
Anyways, which one do you enjoy more, oneshot or series manga?
Personally, I like series, because it doesn't end very fast (I like to take it slowly)
P.S. One volume counts as a oneshot
Lalala~
Oneshot/one volume for yaois, series for mangas xD. Though I have read some really good oneshots like Half & Half. So I voted series cuz the majority of the things I read are series. I like really long ones too. Like 800+ chapter HnI's o_O

I like series better, but that doesn't mean that It should extend too much because It will become boring and repetitive!!! A good example is Hana Yori Dango!!!
Looking for this!!!

I don't really see the appeal of oneshots. There just doesn't seem to be enough room to tell a decent story with just a chapter or so. Series are definitely the way to go.
I suppose I prefer oneshots for hentai though. It's kinda troublesome to have to keep up with a plot and characters in a hentai manga.

I like series better. You can get to understand the plot thoroughly, and as it develops you start to either like/hate (you choose) the characters, while in oneshots, you're left hanging and if they are brief oneshots you barely understand the short plot. You sometimes want the oneshots to continue..but they're rarely continued. TT__TT
Oneshots make me sad because I want to keep on reading them...They're simply too short!! D=

i picked oneshots because i rarely find bad oneshots, but it takes a while to find a good series. pound for pound i've had the most luck with oneshots

I've seen plenty of oneshots with stronger storytelling than 5/10/20/30+ volume series. Length really doesn't have anything to do with that sort of value. I'd say it's a case by case basis.
If one volumes count as oneshots (which as far as I'm concerned they don't, philosophically anyway) then a large number of the best series I can think of are included. So I might have to lean that way in general.

NightSwan also said that she wanted to peg me, once, but I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or a threat...

I like series.
But I like oneshots too.
I just have to look at the plot.
Some should've just ended when it began.
And some shouldn't.
Which doesn't really explain my choice but I voted for series.

.
Series for manga that is not hentai.
Hentai just does not work like that.
In my opinion, series are okay as long as the number of volumes isn't ridiculous. For example Naruto is like, thirty or something volumes. Ten to fifteen would be my limit.
Also some series are too slowpaced. I read Shaman King for a while, and many times, it's like you read the whole volume and it was all just one fight.
It can be the same with dramas, filling up pages with characters saying things like "This... This feeling... When I see her... It's almost like... a warm wave of warmth... Is it... Could this be... true love?"

True dat.

Nothing more needs to be said. They both have their pros/cons.

i am not a big fan of oneshots and i usually try to stay away from them. i like to see development of characters. (but i don't like series with 30+ vols either)
and after finishing a oneshot i feel like something is missing and incomplete. i just want to know what happened the other characters in manga?
