There are many great band out in the world, but if I had to say top three choices I would pick these: Rollings Stones, Deep Purple, AC/DC.
Anyway I basically love anything coming from 60s, 70s and 80s. (=w= ) The new stuff kinda doesn't hit me or rock my socks off.

I like Iron Maiden and if it counts Blind Guardian, Metallica and Nightwish... also... AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Black Sabath... all the regulars 😛

I'm not good with genres,but right now I like Kaizers Orchestra and Dumdum Boys.I'm not a die hard fan or anything.
And my reason is because their songs gives me energy. ^^, Is that a good enough reason,I wonder? 😛
Edit: Added links(youtube) in case you were wondering what they sound like. I don't think that's against the rules. O.o
