Indeed she was. But the show wins, simply because of the aardvark rap. Nothing can beat the aardvark rap.

I liked the Care Bears and Rainbow Brite. Actually, my nickname used to be Care Bear.
I go away and suddenly the spammers are the mods. Okay, I can adjust to that, but... Gorath?! And what's up with Mam's not being the top poster?

Being born in 1984, gave me an excellent opportunity to watch many of the iconic cartoons there.
Big Favourites included:
He-Man
Thundercats
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Transformers
Pole Position
Dogtanian
The list goes on...
The early 90s were great as well with:
Tiny Toon Adventures
Animaniacs
Rubbish: King of the Jumble
Ren & Stimpy
Etc...
I mainly watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and LOTS of Walt Disney cartoons...I loved Donald Duck but I never liked the Mouses...

The pink panther was the first cartoon I've ever enjoyed.
I liked Popai, and Tom&Jerry.
There were also all sorts of russian tales made into cartoons.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

Favourite shows back in the day where Transformers (original), GoBots, G.I. Joe, GhostBusters (both shows), Robotech, Sabre Rider and the Star Sheriffs, She-Ra, Battletech and finally CyberSix. There are some other shows, I watched back in the day but I can't remember their titles.
Edit: Forgot these two, He-Man and Thundercats.
Not changing this sig until Square-Enix & Namco-Bandai collaborate to produce a "Tales of..." game (Feb 8, 2008).
