when i was about 10 or something, i remember reading rurouni kenshin on the computer everytime alongside with this particular song....even though i can't remember which song it is now, i can still vaguely collect the feeling of nostalgia that i've experienced, while i read kenshin, when i listen to that song alone....that song sorta became a "theme song" for rurouni kenshin for me, even though i can't remember its name anymore ^^.........generally, i almost always listen to music while reading manga....usually i found myself not paying attention to what i'm listening to, but i still keep the music on as a habit
I've learned to listen to music while reading, but I used to have
trouble with reading and listening at the same time.
I can in most cases just do one thing at time... =_=

i have to listen to music when iam reading manga. it makes it soo much better, for me any way. I usually listen to drum and bass - bands like pendulum, prodigy, etc and some times classical (kinda weird, i know).
If I were you, then I would................wait, what would I do?

I (more or less) always listen to music while reading, be it manga, books or whatever. Mostly electronic music, psytrance, techno, ambient, drum n bass etc.
But everything's fine 🙂

The bells the bells keep ringing when I stop master.
love and peace
Yeah, I've put this in loads of the manga&music threads, but I can go back through my manga reading life and associate different albums with different manga, due to the way i like to read the same manga in big bursts rather than have a load of series i read as soon as the next chapter comes out.
Makes for very fun moments of nostalgia. Parts of certain songs bring up particular pages, it's great.

I can relate 😀
I have a song I always link with D.Gray-man now if I could remember what song it was...

listening to music while reading makes the manga even more good, and if you listen to the music after you've finished the manga, the music makes you remember some good stuff in the manga.

I don't have a specific music type I listen too. I have the habit of listening to a song over and over again so for some series I'll listen to only one song.
ex: Red River - Bed J. Holiday (listened only to that song during 15 volumes)

I listen to music constantly, so yea, I do. And as for what I listen to.. I just pick a random playlist and let it play through.

Nope don't really listen to music when reading and if I do it's usually soft and instrumental with no singing. Music doesn't really increase the overall enjoyment for me.
