<--- can't multitask so doesn't listen to music while reading manga...

I listen to hiphop while I read any manga. Without music, I can't read -_-. Once in a while, I'll switch it up and listen to l'arc or yui or something.

yeah i listen to music while reading manga, it's helps set the mood alot of times, but nahh....not Japanese music, just regular hip hop

I listen to music while I do everything, but it's just your standard, run-of-the-mill Christian rock. Sometimes I shake things up with some classical music. Mostly, I do this because growing up with two younger brothers, I've reached the point where I need background noise to concentrate.

always i listen to my favorite japanese music/jrock/jpop and such usually slow music or a song that may go with the manga XD or something like that, im a music junkie and yea usually i dont get confused with the music and the manga ~XD 🤣

Nah man, I like peace and quite when I'm reading. Fullstop. Whether it's manga or a book, can't have music in the background. The only time I like quite 🤣

I have music on most of the time, unless I'm doing something I really need to concentrate on.

When I'm reading manga, it's mostly been j-pop because that's what I've been listening to lately - I'm trying to broaden my musical horizons beyond the 2-3 j-pop groups I already know & enjoy by listening to the annual Oricon top 100 for the past few years. (Yes, obviously I'm still missing out on a HUGE amount of Japanese music by only listening to the yearly top 100, but since the top 100 is available as a batch torrent, it's an easy way to get some variety.)

In general I'll just listen to whatever appeals at the moment, which may have some connection to the type of manga I feel like reading, but I don't have any specific connections between what I'm reading & what I'm listening to.

Er, nope.
It's distracting. I like to be consumed in the feeling rather than following the song.
I do listen to music in between though.

I listen to music that kind of matches the mood of the manga. It makes it more effective for me to read it with music. Mostly it's instrumental but I like listening to Japanese music while reading manga.

i listen my usual playlist, i don't get distracted, and i'm really used to it, but nothing with jpop or stuff like that 😔
