I am looking for a comedy manga series.
I am not interested in romantic comedies and slapstick comedy in general. Things that are dead pan comedy like Hitomi's bar bits in Hinamatsuri.
I really like Angel Densetsu, Onani master Kurosawa and Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan alot. Just Nothing overbearing.

Kyou Kara Ore Wa and every manga from this mangaka is pretty funny, they're very similar to Angel Densetsu.

I don't really understand if you like Hinamatsuri or if you don't. Just in case you do (it's probably the funniest thing I read), here are my recommendations.

[m]Monthly Girls' Nozaki[/m] I guess technically a rom-com but more like a parody of shoujo manga.

I did read and like Kyou kara Ore wa, but certainly not as much as Angel Densetsu. Well I will check out other manga made by Nishimori Hiroyuki.

I love Hinamatsuri, its absolutely comedy gold. I am also caught up with Gekkan Shoujo Nojaki Kun and finished Gintama.

I have not read Cromartie and the rest so will read them. Thanks for the reccs.

For me the best comedy I've watched was School Rumble, it always cheered me up !

I also really liked Angel Densetsu, Onani master Kurosawa so I'dmainly recommend GTO and as they said before me, most people that liked Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan like Sakamoto Desu ga?. There are tons of series like Angel Densetsu but they usually end up focusing on the fights/echi and end up discarding the comedy.

These might be a bit too childish but they're also classics (they were my favourite animes when I was 6 yo. ):

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo

In consider comedy very important so most of the well rated series in my list are seinen/shounen/fantasy + comedy likeMob Psycho 100 or Pochi Kuro or Chainsaw Man. I could also recommend some that focus a bit less on comedy that aren't on my list (since I don't like Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan and similar stuff to Mashle).
