Hi looking for manga suggestions here, I'm looking for manga where the mc is not op, weak is also fine. Some that fit these category on top of my head for me is hai to genshou no grimgar, slime tamer(forgot the title), re:zero, danmachi.
I also don't want something where the mc is weak first sure, but then boom op(either time skip, found something op, etc). I find a lot of "weak to strong" tag have this tendency. I said before that weak mc is also fine, but I want the mc not useless either, maybe he is clever using his power or something like that.
More importantly it should be English translated. Help please, thanks.
Forgot to mention, if possible I want it in fantasy or sci-fi setting. No yaoi please, Yuri is fine. As for demographics, for this particular one I find seinen and shounen is the one I like, iirc I read shoujo on this category but it's less interesting, that said though do recommend shoujo or josei.

Isekai Demo Bunan ni Ikitai Shoukougun... At least 28 chapters in he doesn't show any signs of getting stronger.
Yuusha Shoukan ni Makikomareta kedo, Isekai wa Heiwa deshita... Extremely powerful friends,
and he can sort of dodge and counterattack at a later point in the story. Does almost kill him though.
Tensei Kizoku Kantei Sukiru de Nariagaru - Jakushou Ryouchi o Uketsuidanode, Yuushuuna Jinzai o Fuyashite Itara, Saikyou Ryouchi ni Natteta - Average strength at best.
Saikyou no Shien-shoku "Wajutsushi" Dearu ore wa Sekai Saikyou Kuran o Shitagaeru. If he lived in the normal world he would be classified as strong. In the setting his powers are basically a supportive one. As in he supposed to support others. And while he is indeed sort of strong, everyone else around him is stronger. But he fights to win using any means necessary so he does come of stronger than he actually is.

Choujin X fits the bill for sure, doesn't look like the MC's going to be become OP anytime soon either.

I also really liked "hai to genshou no grimgar" and the others you put. In case you didn't know some of them come from novels. I'd recomend:
All You Need Is Kill It's very short
Chainsaw Man firepunch (from the same author)
Dreamland
Yajin Tensei Karate Survivor in Another World
Kiseijuu
For sifi:
Gantz
Crest of the stars
If you don't mind novels:
Release that Witch (Novel) (The manhua is ok, but the star diagrams on the first 2 chapters have 0 sense and they add echi)
Wortenia Senki (Novel) There is a manga, but they're skipping lots of stuff and adding echi
These also aren't bad, but what you asked for is a bit broad (all these and most of the above are complete):
Psyren
Aku no Higan - Beyond Evil
Spirit Circle
Omoide Emanon It's very short
Pandora Hearts

After reading 1st 2 episode choujin x looks a bit weird but interesting, feels like I will like it from the setting and the story so far.
@joese not sure how to narrow it down but let me try. the closest to what I want is grimgar really, you are in a dangerous/competitive world(fantasy world, school, underground, etc), you need to struggle to survive, maybe you have special power but it's useless or weak so you need to use your brain so you can make it useful or better. There is some kind of powers involved (magics, skills, etc). Doesn't really need to be action focused, but some action is a must. There's some kind of progression, character development, goals, enemy, etc. Adventure(?) element is a huge plus, i.e. goblin slayer for sure met what I want, but following the story so far it feels like a slice of life(I prefer the year one side story). I'm not sure how to explain this but I don't want the mc to settle down, it's fine if it's in the ending, most of what I read become slice of lifey and more boring after this point. Maybe fantasy with some realism, I like it when the story follow the rules of the story world.
Honestly searching for this because I won't say most but a lot of recent action manga is either feels good story, op mc, smooth sailing, minor obstacle, etc
