But yeah... the way SleepyFans translate it:
"The seal is is set so that if 8-tails are released, I'll appear in your consciousness" its uncertain if 4th alive...
BUT saying
"I looked forward to seeing how my son had grown" totally implies he is alive.

Either that or the sealing jutsu done, doesnt kill you but gets you stuck in that death god thing's stomach and he just came back for a bit into Naruto's consciousness?

Anyway awesome chapter, an even bigger crater!
Oh and proof Naruto's IQ is the lowest in the ninja world, he apparently recognises the 4th face so he has seen his portrait and yet did not realise that they look alike too much for it to be a coincidence. His IQ must be in the single digits...

I swear that last page just like made me actually want the next chapter and that hasn't happened lately with me and Naruto. But then Minato shows up and I'm like nuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!! why are the chapters only 17 pages?!?!?! so ya i'm like really excited about the next chapter since we get some father/son stuff going on finally

on a note though it seems to me that Minato was sealed along with the nine-tails which makes sense because i remember way back when the third was doing the same jutsu he said that he and Oro would be sealed together with the death god for like all eternity and stuff...but then that means that Minato was always with Naruto but his words make it sound like he was unable to watch over Naruto at the same time....so ya i wonder how all that's gonna be explained

oh and poor Kyuubi! so close to being freed and then Minato shows up and ruins it for him 🤣

That is how that seal works - it takes both the who is sealed and the on who sealed into the same place and they are supposed to fight in the that seal- at least that is how Third explained it to Orochimaru I think.
