Besides Rei being a clingy bitch, whose very existence annoys me, I don't understand why Takashi likes her.
Afterall, she was going out with his best friend, while knowing full well how he felt about her.
The only reason she went out with that guy is because she said Takashi didn't listen to her, specifically when she was held back by that teacher. I don't remember her trying to tell him anything though, he even asked what was wrong but she wouldn't tell him. So basically she was angry that he couldn't read minds. 😕

But who says Takashi even has to choose anyway? The world is ending and only a handfull of people are alive still, wouldn't it be a good idea to step away from monogami? You know, for humanity's sake 😀

TAKAGI!!! all for the brains!! and even though shes not good at weapons.. she still trying!! its was actually a tough decision because i really think that Saeko is such a badass at sword swinging and Shizuka, makes me wanna laugh all the time... but ican relate to Takagi so its just gotta be her..

Wow! It seems almost all of us dislike Rei. I was expecting her to be disliked but not to this extent. lol. It really makes you wonder what Takashi sees in her.

Me I'd go in this order:

Saeko, Shizuka, Takagi, Alice-chan then Rei. Hell Alice-chan is more usefull with her firecrackers than Rei and her gun...which she doesn't even fire. All she does is use the bayonet. 😔

It seems like the writer made a little pun with Saeko's name (Though it could have been by accident as well). Her name is pronounced like "Psycho", and she acknowledges that she's a bit crazy by enjoying killing these zombies more than everyone else...

If we're talking about favourite pairings (/w main male), I'd be for Saeko (like the majority 😉 )
But my favourite heroine would be the nurse since she is the one providing most of the comic relief in this series IMO.

my vote certainly goes for Saeko (sword fighter) girl i just like her
and i dislike Rei for many reasons
She is a shallow, clingy, jealous, suspicious, highmaintenance, possessive chick with a bitchy attitude who dated Takashi's best friend knowing full well how he felt about her.
Also, she keeps snapping at him whenever she feels like it, as if she wants to snap his head off and everything's his fault.

Rei also expects people to read her mind without her having to actually spell it out and when people fail to notice she condemns them as being uncaring. Since I m not a psychic who can read minds, its better to stay away from girls like that.

I dont know about others, but these are reasons enough for me to dislike a girl both in manga and real life. Girls like this type have always been a No-Go for me.
