i use an old Indian medicine salt and this thing, it looks like a tiny yam but tastes like wasabi but a bit more bitter, with disinfective properties (i wonder what alcohal and salt taste like but like i would know never even had a drink in my life), burns like hell but its gone in 2 days. but their are also the oral ulcers that are caused by problems with the stomach. so dont eat anything oily or spicy or meats. drink some milk or eat an anti-acid before you go to bed

Vegggies!! The horror! x.x
I don't like veggies~ except for broccoli and lettuce...
pfft, aside from texture most veggies taste the same with mayonaise. but if you hate veggies that much...http://www.greensplus.com/ , just add this to w/e the hell you're eating and it becomes a veggie dish.

Gargle with saltwater.
Bump...
Haven't had one for years now,
But if I remember correctly, it really hurts, I think...
I accidentally bite my inner lips at times though, it really hurts,
I think I heard someone saying that I should apply some sugar on it,
Maybe it's the same for this....

I used to get them all the time. I have a very bad habit of biting the insides of my mouth or my lips while thinking. It's mostly lips now. So lesser mouth ulcers for me XD
They burn like hell while they last though. I usually avoid eating anything spicy or hard when I have them and resort to the blandest, softest food available. They go away without any other treatment within a few days.

Aphthous stomatitis, benign and non-contagious mouth ulcer. I get them exclusively from sodium lauryl sulfate, that is, from toothpaste. The are some special toothpastes that don't contain any of it or sodium fluoride but I don't like them. But it doesn't really matter if I rinse and clean my mouth carefully after washing my teeth.
I used to wonder why I had them, but after starting to clean my mouth from properly from the toothpaste (I use my finger to clean between my gums and lips when I rinse my mouth) I haven't had the problem. I had been doing that for a year, then I came home late and was tired and didn't do it. I actually wondered why was it I had been doing it in the first place. Well, got a reminder the next morning as I had the first ulcer in a year.
Don't think I've had them since then except once or twice because of biting my lip. A few weeks ago I bit my lip almost dozen times in three days. The more you bite the more easier you bite it again. It sucked.
Far-off places with sweet sounding names.
