Naruto and Nagato finally face to face. Let the power of friendship begin to take effect. At least that is what I think is going to happen. Now all the pain fighting is done for now and next we should be shifting our attention to madra and sausugay shortly after a few chapters of how love prevails over all.

Knowing the way this manga works, I'm 99% certain that Naruto won't kill Nagato. Nagato is just too pitiful to kill at the moment and besides, I doubt Naruto will ever kill anyone in this series. But with all he's done and with the condition he's in, I can't see Nagato surviving more than a couple chapters after this. (Which sucks as we still don't know what his uber-awesome eye jutsu can really do except that it's uber-awesome!)

Undoubtedly when they meet, Naruto will spout off his way of the ninja crap and suddenly! Nagato will magically see the way and the light. Then, he'll either die after telling Naruto about Madara, OR, Madara will show up and finish the job himself because Nagato is "no longer useful," thus giving Naruto a sneak peak at his next enemy.

Someone will probably taunt Naruto about Sasuke in there somewhere, but the question is: when is the bastard finally going to show up? The village has been destroyed, so he can't do that any more, so what are they going to have him do instead? And then there's Konan. If Nagato dies, does she get killed too? Or will she join up with Naruto instead (which would actually be kinda interesting).

Even though the next chapter will purely be made of conversations, I'm kind of interested in how this will turn out 🙂

It's good though that the 'minor' plots are being handled as well (communication with village - search team for Nagato - ...)

Except for how Sasuke will react to this, I also wonder what Danzou will do now that Pain's rampage is over. I mean this should be the time for action if he ever wants to take over the village...

@Robbit:: It was stated somewhere in the previous chapters that the one who controls the Pains should be near and in a high place if he needs to send signals to these corpses (that's why Shika-dad, Ino-dad, and Hyuuga-guy is searching and found Naruto this chap)

And nooooo. It was a PAPER tree D< Imagine how many trees they had to cut to make a real-life size of it. XD

it was told before that he must be in a nearby place to be able to radio-chakra-control his minion pains. So he was in a fake-tree (actually made of paper by teh hot gurl)

the best part about this chapter is the shikamaru scene. he pretty much stepped down from being hokage. that being said, naruto must have some really special power... this power of friendship.
