For some reason, this chapter was just "Bleh." Wasn't exciting, the plot didn't really move along that much, and everybody's lines were pretty much stuff we already knew.

And why did Naruto stab himself with the chakra rod again? Didn't he already figure out where Nagato was in chapter 441? Don't tell me his ADHD made him forget that already. 🤣

Undoubtedly when they meet, Naruto will spout off his way of the ninja crap and suddenly! Nagato will magically see the way and the light. Then, he'll either die after telling Naruto about Madara, OR, Madara will show up and finish the job himself because Nagato is "no longer useful," thus giving Naruto a sneak peak at his next enemy.

Someone will probably taunt Naruto about Sasuke in there somewhere, but the question is: when is the bastard finally going to show up? The village has been destroyed, so he can't do that any more, so what are they going to have him do instead? And then there's Konan. If Nagato dies, does she get killed too? Or will she join up with Naruto instead (which would actually be kinda interesting).

Kishimoto, you've been doing well since Pain invaded Konoha, don't fuck it all up by doing this...

About corpses, I would think that rasengan should have been able to tear it to pieces and yet its all intact, no holes or anything, lol.

I wonder if naruto is going to fight nagato now? Or are they going to talk each other to death?

guess we don't have to wonder anymore weather or not Naruto has what it takes to become Hokage
This last ark showed that he is maturing just hope it doesn't stop with the end of the ark and he continues to develop.

If Naruto will someday become the chief of the village, he will be called Tomokage...mah...

I think the way rasengan works is to deal "internal" damage, like the time (a long time ago) Naruto and Sasuke faced off on top of a building, and they each hit a water tank with chidori and rasengan. On the surface the rasengan only made a small hole, but on the back of the tank there was a huge hole.

So I think maybe the rasengan destroyed the insides of pain but left the body intact?

Naruto takes it to his stomach.

He then sees Jiraiya's death and how Kakashi died from Nagato.

Nagato[Thoughts?]: I try to manipulate Naruto and take him back, but Naruto is resisting the black rod.

Konan: To repel Nagato's chakra at this range, what a kid.

Naruto: It's great what one can do when facing an enemy.
Naruto's eyes turn into frog + Kyuubi eyes

Naruto: I can't forgive you, I want to kill you right now!

He charges at Nagato

But he stops just before him.

Naruto: I don't know anything about you, why do you hate Konoha? Talk to me!

So Nagato starts talking

I have two pain[ful events], one of them is my parents being killed

Then Nagato begins talking about his past

At the height of the Great Ninja War, we had been too late at escaping, so we were hiding at our family's house.
Two ninjas came into our house.

They were searching for some food

Nagato's parents: Nagato, you need to hide.
Then they charge at the two ninja

The ninja: They're enemies.
They kill his parents instantly.
The ninja: There's one more around here.
The ninja search for food
They look at the corpses
The ninja: They were just civilians, huh. Why would civilians, in the middle of a battle... We're sorry, kid

At that moment, lighting strikes outside, and what Nagato sees, is a Konoha headband

Nagato: UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAH

And then, the Rinnengan is activated.

So Naruto has both sets of eyes at the same time? I thought he couldn't use the nine-tails chakra while in sage mode. Unless I misread it...

And did Nagato change his hairstyle? Cause I thought he always had that long straight hair, and his friend Yahiko was the one with the spiky hair...
