How often do you have dreams?

As you have seen in the topic, i'm asking of you how often you dream. There are also some additional questions from me:
• do you have more dreams or nightmares?
• how do you make sure you are already awake?
• best/worst dream you ever had?
- I rarely have dreams but most of them are neutral. My dreams are more like storys where i'm just a spectator, sadly i don't remember them always, what i also know is that i wake 1-2 times in a month with tears on my face.
- I look at a clock becouse in my dreams, or rather nightmares i'm always too late.
- My worst dream was when godzilla attacked me, i hate it ever since i'm 6...
• do you have more dreams or nightmares?
Dreams! Rarely have nightmares.
• how do you make sure you are already awake?
Open my eyes the most I can 🤣 . Really, I do, staring at my room too.
• best/worst dream you ever had?
Best: One where I was able to fly!
Worst: Consecutive nightmares, when I finally get to be awake next one is a nightmare too.

I dream every night, I don't remember them all, just the feelings they leave behind.
I probably have more dreams than nightmares now, but up until a few years ago, nightmares dominated my sleep.
I've had many dreams within dreams and the only way I know for sure that I'm awake, is to get up and get my coffee. I never dream about doing that.
I don't have a best dream.
My worst was a recurring one that I had for years, concerning harm being done to myself and family by some unknown assailant.

I dream almost every other night. I probably have more dreams, but nightmares are more memorable to me.
I make sure that I'm awake by staring at my ceiling and checking the time since I'm never in my room in my dreams and I don't have free will to do rational things in my dreams. (I'm driven by fear usually.)
Best Dream: - being a cool secret agent and fighting people 😎
- eating at a buffet (the fried chicken was so good~)
Worst: - being shot...twice
- a reacurring dream where I'm being chased

I never used to remember my dreams at all (or even remember I was dreaming) but for the last month or two, I've remembered one just about every night (whether I still remember it by lunch time is a different story...)
• do you have more dreams or nightmares?
I definitally have more "dreams" than anything. Don't remember having a single nightmare since, maybe third grade (+11 years). My dreams are usually more like stories or movies (in which I'm a major character, if not the main) so I sometimes wake up in the midst of a depressing part, but I know it's not a nightmare. I've also NEVER had a repeat dream/nightmare.
• how do you make sure you are already awake?
I can't remember ever wanting to wake up from a dream, so I realize I'm awake when I find myself trying to fall back asleep again. Basically, if I can feel my blankets and pillow, I know I'm awake. They're the two sensations I don't feel in dreams.
• best/worst dream you ever had?
best: I was inside a huge dome with my extended family (cousins, grandparents, etc) that was basically a paradise. It was incredibly relaxing and calm, to the point that when my cousins and I got completely and totally lost, we were still happy and laughing.
worst: I've got three in the running here. The most vivid, I was in a giant warehouse full of boxes with no one but my mom (I was probably in the middle of a RL move). There was a ledge that I thought was fun to hang off of except one time I was hanging off of it, I slipped. My mom didn't know where I was so I was just wandering around among the boxes, lost and alone.
The other two are just basically, me failing to protect my younger brothers. In one of them, my brothers are eaten by monsters because I left them alone too long and in another, I lost track of my baby brother and when we find him, he's dead. I was probably all of 7 when I had these dreams (and my brothers wonder why I'm so overprotective)...
I am a breath of insanity in a world of chaos.
Me: Performing Random Acts of Klutziness for over 30 years.
I dream a lot, but i rarely remember anything.
I usually have dreams about random people i never talk to. I had a dream about a guy who sat next to me in a seminar class once, or people i have never met but my friends know and talk about 😔
The closest thing i have ever dreamt was falling out of our car( almost right in front of our driveway) and i two michelin men suddenly appeard. Scary, right? 🤣 I was like 7 okay! 🤣
I usually wake up because I dream that I trip, fall or jump or something, so i guess i realize im awake when i am laying in my bed 🤣
And all my dreams are plainly weird, and can't really pick one special 😳

One of the reasons why I hate sleeping: I get nightmares almost every night.
Occasionally, I do get H dreams though =D
Doesn't everyone have several dreams every night? (During REM sleep)
I rarely remember them and I can't recall the last nightmare I've had --- its been years. If I remember a dream after I've awoken I usually forget by the afternoon.

I rarely dream, but whenever I do its either realistic or way irrational (there is no gray area) If I had to put it on a timeline, I would say once every couple years. Most of the time its just go to sleep, followed immediately by waking up
I mostly have dreams about positive things happening in my life or to my close friends.
I make sure I'm awake by thinking"isn't this a dream" whenever i think that during a dream, it ends. If everything is the same, I know I'm awake.
My best dream was that I had invented a way to make it rain cats and dogs, proving the saying literal(I was like 4)

The dreams i can remember now are dreams where i somewhat knows its a dream.
Best dream i had when i was trying out Lucid Dreams pointers and kept a diary and taking "naps" in the middle of the day, got one dream where i was fully aware and managed to have myself a personal holodeck for a while, then it became harder to diffirentiate and i woke up.
But it was still the best dream ever, i got to do so much, magic, flying and some more. 🤣

EDIT:
• do you have more dreams or nightmares? Usually more dreams.
• how do you make sure you are already awake? I move around in my bed...?
• best/worst dream you ever had?
Best: My best dreams are when I'm flying or when I visit family who aren't alive anymore (even though they can be sad sometimes). One of my most favorite dreams are when I find myself all lovey-dovey with my crush. I also like it when my favorite anime/manga characters appear in my dreams.
Worst: When I was a kid, I would always dream about being stuck in corner. I would look up and see a huge tital wave comin' right for me. I also have this dream where I'm climbing a mountain, then I slip (that usually wakes me up with a jerk). Some time ago, I would have a dream where my mom and I were on a deck, then my mom would fall into the water and drown. Luckily, I stopped having that dream. But yeah, none of these dreams arean't really that bad. nor do I have them very often anymore.
