Hair color is a spoiler practically. 🙁 I understand that it's necessary in some cases to help differentiate characters, but then again shouldn't the art be distinct enough that the actual face can determine the characters? It's such a shame how so many shoujo involve only two faces for each girls and guys (cute/innocent/youthful and sexy/mature/cool), with the hair deciding who each actual person is. 😔

I also get annoyed about families. Usually, the hair color flows in a diagonal pattern. Example: dark hair - mother, son & light hair - father, daughter. It's an artistic cliche in a 4-person standard family... Even if it isn't diagonal, the hair colors are still divided evenly amongst themselves. I want to see irregularity! D<

But then they would all look the same! What I just said only applies to manga though.
