i've known forever that newtypeis no longer going to be published. but the magazine that replaced it discontinued after like four issues or something.

and im still kind of in denial.

so is there basically no hope for them ever putting newtype usa back into circulation? 😢

It got cancelled because of low sales and revenue.

Every day the market becomes larger in America, they may eventually bring it back.

It just wasn't the right time.

Newtype was too expensive for what it offered and Piq just kind of never had an audience. Also ADV just about folded and their magazine was bleeding them like a leech so its no wonder it went away.

Sarcasm just doesn't work over the internet.
