I'm practically deprived of games (as in I can't get any... even when I have the money) so pretty much any game is good for me as long as it isn't something like Barbie's Jewelry Designer or some casual puzzle games. RPGs are often what I choose though when I do have a choice but so are Shooters. I kinda suck at Strategy games so I don't get those unless it's a truly awesome one.

Like many others, I love RPGs, but only as far as videogames go. I just don't have the time, patience, or tolerance to spend hours hunched around a table with a bunch of decidedly unsavory basement-dwellers.

In that regard, I'm more well-rounded in the games I play, although RPGs of all subgenres are definitely a major presence.

RPG and SRPG (Strategy Role-laying Game), but i can't say no to a good strategy game either.

rpg fan... but they always don't have all the things i want so i continue to search.."my" game >< the one!!!! and pen and paper are best when you reading late and night and sleep.. KAAAAA!!!!! the whole world is in you're dream! 😀

I don't mostly own RPGs, but they are my primary games. Actually, i think I do mostly own RPGs.

Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Eternal Sonata (terrible game btw), Tales of Vesperia, Infinite Undiscovery and Lost Odyssey.

There are 5 more games that I want to buy this year, Alpha Protocol (Shooter-RPG), The Witcher (WRPG), Dragon Age (WRPG), BlazBlue (Fighter) and Star Ocean 4 (JRPG).

I do like other genres, but they don't usually hold my attention for long enough for me to actually finish the game. Fighters are the exception.

Only in video games; there's no way you'll catch me playing something like D&D on a board or anything.

But usually, I like RPG games the best.

I tend to like RTS and FPS a little more than RPG, since Multiplay is more fun then playing the story over again

RPGs and Head to Head Fighters are my favorites. I know it's a wierd combination. I need to buy some more fighters...

Things like FF Tactics on Advance/DS made me really really enjoy games to a whole new level. Before that I was solely a strategy gamer.

But FF Tactics had it all, a story, and the strategy portion which I liked.

With that I have come to accept that RPG is now my niche. 🙂

hmm... yeah. I guess I like playing RPGs the best because they seem to have the most interesting and stable storylines plus they last for a while but have a definite purpose.

Nope.. I'm mainly a Grand Strategy gamer.
