Comedy. I typically avoid manga that don't have the comedy label.

Whatever I read, I like it to have at least a bit of romance in it. Though I am not a big lovey dovey person.

...honestly, it depends on my mood.

If I'm not tired from things I do in reality, I like things that are heavily psychological or at least have strong character development. Something that can actually have an impact on the way you view the world, or at least force you to examine your opinions a bit is always going to be "better" to me.

Alas, most of the time I am tired, and so I end up reading a lot more nonsense comedy and the like, which is really just useful for some quick laughs.

Tragedy...

I read everything though (except ones where sex is the focus),
but I do keep an eye out especially for tragedy manga.

I'm pretty open ended when it comes to searching for manga. If a series looks good and people recommend it, I'll read it regardless of content or genre. I tend to leans towards series with action in it mostly though.

Same with me. I like stuff that makes me think on stuff like morality (Monster being a prime example.)

depending on mood, action, romance, drama.
(romance and drama are usually coupled(no pun intended))

I look for manga of an anime series I've enjoyed watching (like Daa! Daa! Daa! and Death Note which are my top faves), or of some manga series which I stumbled across and hooked me accidentally (Lovely Complex for example). I don't prefer any genre in particular, but I ABSOLUTELY hate hentai and ecchi. Shoujo Ai, Shounen Ai, Yaoi and Yuri do not exactly make it to my manga list, but they're ok as long as the manga doesn't focus on them too much (Card Captor Sakura for example).

Romance > Action > Comedy

But I read everything.

Well, the problem is that I can't name only one..
I like comedy but also romance, and drama can be nice.
When I feel like it, I can enjoy other things..
Depemds on the mood.
