I'm a little annoyed at mangas where the main characters never get hurt - like they have a messiah complex or something and can't get hurt ever, or if they do, they get healed so quickly that it doesn't even affect them. Or if the main characters get a cold from sacrificing themselves...something like that. I'm a little sadistic, I know, but who isn't? Lol!

Anyone else feel the same?

by the way, i really hate that guy, and i really hate this kind of setting where the protagonist is hurt protecting others, but your tongue is yours, so eat it all you want

I rather they don't get hurt at all cuz they're strong and stuff than getting lots of life threatening wounds but still having the power to fight because their friends are in danger 🤢 .

Characters who get hurt and don´t heal quickly are more human-like. I really like them because the super-fast healing is so annoying, it doesn´t even makes sense than that the protagonist get hurt. "You can´t fight, your arm is broken" - short time later - "your arm is already healed" so boring. It would be more interesting if an old wound would affect the next fights

I know exactly what you mean. /sadist, as well

I hate it when someone gets hurt, and then a panel later they're all right/magically okay/a week has passed and they're perfectly fine again. Seriously?

Hmm... I know there are a lot of these, but my brain is dying.

Nabari no Ou pretty much fits, but it might not be your kind of series. To the credit of the mangaka, even bandages from being hit in the face stay on there and get smaller as the wounds heal. It's amazingly continuous.

I don't know, since it's been a long time since I've read it, but for some reason, World Embryo comes to mind as well.

I hope these are even vaguely like what you wanted.

A common ability that characters have is regeneration or that their bodies are more fortified. An example would be someone like Naruto or Gash Bell. It's common since some characters tend to fight non-stop for long periods of time. It's either that or something like Eyeshield 21 which have quite a bit of a time gap between one fight and his next major one.
