Yes, there are 35 replies but not many of them provide quality conversation. There are a few "oh yeah, I forgot that one" but no conversation. Basically, not a very good example or foundation for making a whole section. More conversation would make the movie section seem more viable.

But really, just edit the reasoning behind your first post and I'll be all for the movie section, meaning you'll have one less person to persuade.

I like the idea of the movie forum, and while we are opening new forums, why stop there, when there are other media and fine arts that deserve to be discussed?

I said I thought Razril's idea was good. But it would seem to be cluttered and disorganized to me.

I knew this was coming sooner or later...people should remember that this is a MANGA forum. Talking about non-manga related topics is what the chatter box is for.

I was actually surprised that the Music section got approved...the chatter box is there for a reason. If people keep this up, the chatter box will be made useless since members will see this as an example and keep asking for new sections...

I know you're asking for a new section to make it easier to search for threads but that's what the search forum function is for...

i wasn't orig gonna post here, since it was Myself that suggested the Music forum, and i don't wanna sound like a hypocrite, but, i don't think that a Movie section is justified, there are music related manga, i have yet to read one about making it in the movie life....not saying there aren't any, but not as popular as the music, and there are alot more things to do with music in the manga community than with the movies.

i do however, agree with Razril's idea, of a section for everything multi-media, including movie, games, music, and such.
but that would also Require finding and moving all Multi-media threads to it, which didn't happen with the music section, i am sure there are still music related things in the chatter box...

but i am just a organized kinda person....

Yeah I was thinking the exact thing. I don't want to be a hypocrite. I just think that "movies" is not a broad enough subject for a whole sub forum on a manga site.
