I just wanna know how the hell Kishimoto's gonna explain the whole 'killed entire clan, made brother mad with revenge turning out to be some ingenius and all-for-the-greater-good kinda plan' thing, because I don't see why any of that had to happen.
(We can really only hope that he goes blind. Soon.)

I give up, I'm gonna read the Bleach chap and have some more unanswered questions that don't leave me frustrated.

granted sasuke gained itachi's techniques, but as to if he can use them himself, we don't know and if they only way it can be activated is through interactions with madara's eyes then its just a "failed" safe. i think madara proved that with one of his secret jutsu's.. true sasuke is uberpowerful, but this new class of villians are no joke. pain killed jiraiya, kisame has the greatest amount of chakra amongst the atkatsuki, zetsu is still a mystery...if he fights i bet he kills someone, and madara can even survive amaterasu.

sidenote, i wonder if kisame killed those kids?

and danzou is moving in the shadows. sasuke, everybody, will be lucky to survive. i'd also like to point out that naruto does have a formidable weapon at his disposal. yea it hurts him too, but he's so stupid he'll use it in spite of harming himself and it's way more devastating than summoning a storm and calling a dragon lightning bolt. that's like the same power that swordsmen of the mist had in the anime filler and naruto kicked his ass. i think things are progressing just fine.

one thing im curious about is whether madara knows naruto is the fourths son.

going back to earlier issues in the manga, i think its more clear now about what itachi told naruto about whatever during their private pow-wow, and when naruto told itach he was more of a brother to sasuke than itachi was, that was a self righteous smirk itachi let out because as always naruto never knows whats happening. i have no doubt itachi could have cared less about naruto though. im sure itachi wanted the kyuubi not only to defeat madara, but also for the poer itself

lets skip school

i already expected Itachi not being that evil, so it's not that big of a dissapointment. Probably Madara wanted Itachi's eyes before, but couldn't take them. Now Sasuke is pretty much a prisoner, no chakra left, and in Madara's Hand, so after Madara tells Sasuke Itachi's story no more Sasuke.
I just hope it gets more interesting

I knew Itachi was good from the start. His behavior and story just didn't fit.

Still I haven't liked the direction Naruto's been going in ever since the time skip. The whole elemental jutsu deal still bugs me; if you want elemental factors in a manga you add it in the very beginning!

on a postive note, this chapter completely settled the tobi is madara/has madara's power argument(unless i missed something)

There were only 2 guys got into naruto's mind to talk with the kyuub. Madara and Sasuke.
So he gained also the technique with his right eye? Does naruto got any major techniques. From the 3year he got away training we didnt see much so hopefully he still got some technique on his sleeves...

So... people can teach and even program abilities with a forehead tap?

... Why the heck doesn't everyone know every jutsu? "Ha ha, I programmed into Naruto the Shadow Clone.. but it only ever activates when he see's ramen." "Oh, that is to cruel Sensei! Ha ha!" >_<
That should be how they enforce homework, "Alright everyone, we forehead tapped you into chapter 8 techniques, go home and practice. If you don't, they will all activate at once blowing your room up. Consider this a warning." Yeesh. That is what actually stood out this chapter, since there really wasn't anything else besides "Oh yeah, the most evil bastard this series has ever, will ever know.. the one who forced you to watch your family die for years? Yeah.. he was a good guy, that was his way of saying 'Go get'em, bro!'" 🤢

As an Itachi fan (and a Sasuke hater,) the past few chapters have annoyed me. My intuition told me quite a while ago that Itachi would eventually be considered "good". I never really thought that he was terrible to begin with, and I guess this chapter sort of relieved that curiousity.
What bothers me though is that Itachi died a ridiculously pathetic death and that Sasuke survived... and became stronger. The word I use to define this would have to be: "bull shit." It has become really clear that Masashi Kishimoto really prefers Sasuke to soak up any sort of limelight. He is gearing his entire plot around pathetic, whiny Sasuke.
All I can hope right now is that Masashi won't disappoint me and will randomly decide to have Madara ressurrect Itachi. Sasuke doesn't deserve the fame for "saving the world" blah blah blah. Sasuke needs to get his ass kicked - not become more powerful.

I wonder how many people would throw a hissy fit if Itachi were ressurrected? 😎

hmm, good chapter, but agitated me a bit, since we still don't know who Tobi is, we know he is/has madara, but how could his body survive....

Hey, Itachi can still be a badass good guy now in death. I mean he did do tons of totally immoral things to try to save the world after all. I personally dont care what side Itachi was on as long as he was still a badass.
