well the topic explains it all......so yeah, i watched the anime before, and if this isn't just the same story re-told or the same story but slight differences i'd like to read it....so anyone know?
I had watched the anime and read the manga some years afterwards, but it didn't seem to be exactly like the anime if that is what you mean.

Well I'd say they do give of different feelings. I like the art way more than the anime. I also say that the manga did a much better representation of the visual novel.

i really dont understand this topic either.
tsukihime never had an anime. ever. there's only an epic visual novel and a manga.
maybe he speaks about kara no kyoukai but that has not much to do with tsukihime.

I haven't read the manga, and I watched maybe two episodes of the anime before stopping. In my opinion though, nothing can beat the Visual Novel. I even heard the the VN is getting a remake so I am hoping they will add some more epicness into the already epic VN.

Sacchin? Who was that again? It's be so long since I played it that some character names slipped my mind. I think I'll just play it again to refresh my memory.

ROFL 🤣
i've heard that type-moon fans don't acknowledge the anime. but now that i've witnessed it firsthand, i can't help but to laugh...
well, i am one of their fans too though... and i wholeheartedly understand why people refuse to acknowledge the anime.
seriously, if you're expecting it to be like the i-also-definitely-undeniably-very-much-prefer-that-it-doesn't-exist anime, well, i 9999% guarantee that the manga is waaaaaaay better than the anime.
and then the VN. a remake? first time i ever heard of it. i was waiting for mahou tsukai no yoru, and i guess i missed the news, hehe 🙂 can you give me more info? i don't think i would act if the new thing is only sacchin's route. i hate her, dunno why.

Isn't it sad, sacchin?
there's only little info on the remake, they announced the remake on 2008, but up till now theres no release date and just some little info on the changes they will make. they will either make a remake or a sequel(which I am wishing for: canon satsujinki).
@Zyibis
sacchin is satsuki, shiki's classmate who turned vampire.
