New groups are popping out like crazy.
Not saying it's a bad thing or a good thing.

I didn't notice, but even if there was a boom in the scanlation business, it is probably because it is a new year so it isn't random

many new come, but there are only some which survive. I didn´t notice a boom lately, and even if there was it´ll stop soon since school begins in many countries again, and not all the scanlators are adults.
seriously instead of everyone making an own group, they should stick together

That's because some old groups were affected from some things happened. Anti-scanlation coalition etc. Now new and small groups appear and take some abandoned titles. Other new groups even steal active titles.:/ The prob is that the new groups are not as skilled as the old ones.
