Ok this is my first time making a topic so can someone please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

I was wondering about peoples habits on editing their posts. Do you often go back and edit them? When you do, do you indicate that they have been edited?

I use the preview button every time I post, so as to not have to edit it later.

As far as indicating, we don't have a choice. It shows up if it had been edited after five minutes of posting, I believe.

Only when I need to add something to my post. I usually specify my edit for that one.

But if it's just some mere grammar mistake or an incorrect spelling (total OCD here) then I don't feel there's a need to state my edit or not. No one really cares besides myself. (:

For exactly the same reasons.

I don't really edit posts. Unless I want to add something, or when suggesting a manga, I typed the title wrong. That's about it really. If there was an edit button for double posts however..that's a different story. : |

Rarely, and when I do I usually edit quickly, mostly typos or editing names for manga series when using bbcode.

Editing is a wonderful thing! So useful (for a change).

I definitely appreciate the cleanliness that's preserved through specifying or changing one's own ramblings.
(I am against censorship, though.)
And no, the editing is mentioned automatically, so no need to repeat yourself. But it is useful when stressing a certain point.

Too sad, you cannot edit what you said in real life. 😉

I only use it to correct a spelling or grammar mistake. No need to indicate that.

I edit posts to correct grammar, add capitalization, and etc, the regular. Since I post when I'm drowsy more often. 😉

And sometimes I indicate that I've edited something when it's changing my whole post or adding more to the post.

"EDIT: blahblahblah."

But that's usually to.. older posts.

I always preview my posts. O_o
But I usually edit when I notice a few typos. xD

I only indicate I've edited a post when I add something more, or have found what I've been looking for, which is usually the case in the *I'm Looking For...*section. =)

Ohh, and congrats on your first thread. Such a touching moment. T~T

: D

Yeah I usually edit my posts for grammer etc.

Sometimes I even miss them when I press the preview button XD That's why I always read over my post after i've posted to make sure that it does make sense and I wont confuse anyone.

I'll be doing that to this post, of course 🤣

i dont do it that often...cause im quite careful with what i type..
and i also put the "EDIT:" sign or "" sign when i edit it or correct something so people who i am debating or arguing before will not not get confused or more pissy than they already were...
also i mean everything that i ever said or will say... 😐
