Editing Posts

Even after at least two previews, I do a few edits a lot of the time. Usually to add information, after reading the prior posts again and realizing that more information is necessary to understand what was said.
Almost never to correct spelling since I use spell check always, and that red line is hard to ignore. I don't understand why more people aren't using it.
Also unless someone has posted after me, I don't manually put notices of an edit in the post.
I edit superfluously.
Edit1:Changed often to a lot
Edit2:Changed a lot to very much so
Edit3:Changed very much so to superfluously...

Rarely, I click the "Cancel this reply" link more often 🤣

Most of the time cause I always feel certain words would fit the post better even if they mean the exact same thing.

I like to edit my posts... but I try to do this within the first five minutes after posting (I don't like having the "Last edited by so-and-so at such-and-such a date".
Occasionally, I'll make an
"Edit: because I feel like it in the circumstance when I edited."
Edit: I also have spelling and grammatical errors that I miss when posting that I like to fix, but I tend to only fix them if I catch them before the five minutes are up.

I edit them when I see that I've messed up something. But that happens rarely 🤢

I usually don't click preview, that's why I tend to edit. If I see a spelling mistake or if the grammar is wrong, I change it.
I also don't back to old posts...
