Now that they have 'Haki', even non DF users can fight on par with a Logia type DF users. For example; Rayleigh vs Kizaru fight. That makes the almighty Logia are not that almighty anymore.

Oda truly is the King of Manga with this epic battle happening. Every chapter seems so short 😔 He's always making us crave for more with his cliffhanger chapter endings

IIRC Oda put that OP had reached it's halfway point at the end of a chapter around about 500 or so. Thus if he has his way OP is nowhere near finished, and I don't see his publishers stopping the best of the Big 3.

And Luffy just letting Ace's secret slip was classic!

Whats lame about it? WB has the power to sink continents and wipe out entire Islands with his power, entire fleets could easily be wiped out in a single strike by WB that's some epic power he has.

cant cant wait till luffy makes his appearance(!) But i kinda feel like he'll sneak in under the radar; i mean, it seems like they're already startin without him, and if they do, it'd be hard to notice luffy's ship joining in under all that CHAOS (<--gahhh can't WAIT!)~

yeah i was wondering about that too~ the explanation i came up with is that WB can shake/crack anything(?), like how inazuma can cut anything with his/her choki choki devil fruit. Cause if we look at WB's devil fruit name, its "gura gura no mi" and "gura gura" is like a sound effect for "strong movement or when somethings shaking violently"~ and it doesnt really specifically refer to only the earth, or earthquakes. So i guess he could cause "quakes" in anything~ including, the air lol~ well it is One Piece where, with devil fruits, anything is possible 😀

or like u sed~ it just might be his ultra awesomeness and strength that caused the air to crack~ that'd actually make him an even more EPIC character 😀 ~

Seriously, luffy and his ship of escapees are the wildcard in this match up. the government planned for whitebeard to come full throttle, but not for a boat full of pirates who have just escaped from an unbreakable prison, and lets not forget fact that three shichibukai are on his side (crocodile, jimbei, and boa).

also, who doens't think that the rest of the crew members are gonna appear during this part of the arc? wouldn't that be amazing? once any of them find out about whats happening to ace, they are bound to know where luffy will be. it'll be an epic meeting spot, the spot where all war is breaking out.

Man, this chapter was -again- pure epicness!
Although I read the spoilers the translated chapter in a whole still got me excited like hell!

But, sadly, next week -Chapter 553- is gonna be a double issue.
Meaning no chapter the week after next. 😢

What I liked the most in this chapter is the flashback: light, fast but enclosing all Ace's pirate past, cinematographic in the choice of the scenes.
State of the art of the flashbacks.

I don't think most of the characters that are present can die, since he has luffy and the crew fighting off most of the (spelling) royal shibuykai
so I think either there going to find a way to save ace quick while the fighting is going on, or he dies quick. which would suck cause he makes giant sun like fireballs
