I don't necessarily like causing pain, it's too much trouble on my part and the benefits rarely outweigh the gains, but I don't really mind seeing others in pain. That's because my heart is a withered up husk and my soul is a black hole. It's interesting watching the different ways people cope with it.

I don't usually get into fights, and I don't see any joy in making others cry or scream in pain and such.
The strange thing is, I do like the sound of a bone breaking though. It does have a nice sound ^.^ It doesn't have to be someone's, whom I hate.
Meh, I don't live in a pink-girly-world at all XD And thank goodness for that!

On a side note, according to that definition, a sadist would be someone who gains phyisical pleasure by CAUSING pain as opposed to observing it. I doubt that anyone here is a true sadist.

Its both, actually....
Causing pain is better, but watching people in pain(or generally just seeing lots of blood, guts, and torture) is good enough to stave off the cravings to stab people, and to feel the knife driven into their flesh.... Or just going crazy in general. I swear. I feel like I'm going crazy unless I get a good dose of blood and guts at least once a week. Its like an addiction to drugs or something.
