I didn't vote for anything in this poll either, I would've voted for the long drawn out plot if it wasn't Inyuasha (it ended already, so yeh, no longer drawn out).
If it was like annoying or idiotic main characters like naruto, maybe would've voted for that.
I really don't like these ones where they always start stupid, but stay stupid kind of characters that doesn't improve despite all the training or experiences. Note this isn't about their techniques but just simply improving like be more aware of their environments or can actually figure out something on their own for once. 🙄

I was going between endless fighting and unrequited romance because I read more of those than anything else. And I voted unrequited romance because I often find fights amusing... to the point where I would laugh when I watched DBZ when I was younger.

I thought about every manga series that I ditched and every one matched one of the reasons in the poll so... in the end I couldn't pick one. For example, all the shoujo series that I ditch always match up to unrequited romance/harem... and the fact that it always turned out to be happy... hate that. Although I can't really choose 'endless fighting' since sometimes it turns out for the better (just skip the chapters with it 🙂 )

Without a doubt, I'm most sick of reading about harems. Seriously, how many panty shots does a guy have to see before he's satisfied?
Ouran is great, so reverse harems I can live with.
I think the choices are hard to choose from because they're too specific. A change in wording might help.
I can't possibly hate a manga for its endlessness of fighting if fighting is crucial to the story. In that case, what I hate isn't endless fighting but action in general.
Same goes for unrequited romances. Either it's not important enough to the story to develop a romance (Ranma) or developing a romance is the purpose of the story (Hana Yori Dango). In either case, it's not the unrequited romances that you hate, it's the love and seeing two people fall in love that make you sick.
Sports is a good and solid option, but I've got to say, the people who choose this don't know what they're missing. Eyeshield 21 was decent; I'm still following Prince of Tennis; and Yakitate Japan, which I believe could fall under this category, is hilarious. At first glance, they may seem like your everyday manga about football, tennis, or cooking, but they're really quite unique. You can find romance manga and action manga like Naruto and Bleach anywhere, but how often do you come by a manga about Go (yes, I consider this a sport too), billiards, or boxing?
As for the "guy-always-gets-girl" option, I'm stumped as to what it's referring to. A harem maybe?
I think "long drawn out plot" will probably be chosen most often, because most of the options (i.e. endless fighting, unrequited romance, generic sports) are just more specific versions of "long drawn out plot."
...-_- Inuyasha really was too long. Has it even ended yet? I forget.

I wish the poll would give the "all of the above" option, because I hate everything mentioned in that poll and can't choose which one I hate the most.
Although if I had to say, what I hate the most is a long drawn out plot that never ends that involves a harem and an unrequited love at the same time. It's the most annoying of all to me. With endless fight scenes I just flip pages so fast if gives me a primitive animation effect, like the stick figures I used to draw on the corner of my high school math notebook.... I'd flip the corner when I was bored 🙂

I'd vote for "endless fighting". I'm truly getting sick of most shounen and a lot of seinen "epic stories" and am veering towards shoujo-esque epic stuff where the character and plot building is balanced with the strategic fights. Besides, I don't mind lengthy plots provided the mangaka knows where to go from there.
And I read only a few select sports stuff so I don't really touch most generic sports stuff. Though I could see why some folks think that way... there seem to be a ton of baseball, tennis, etc. stuff.

if only you would add the one that i hate the most.... all those up there i hate them... but nowhere near the one i hate the most...... which is.... super colorless manga with tons of bishounen guys with big eyes..... and then its about love.... yet it turns all bla bla.... i mean...... i dont want to read a story so colorless and uninterestin with tons of guys walking around and a girl like umm.... all shy and shit... wtf!... (stories that show the obvious.... which is..... shoujo mangas...)
2nd on my hate list is the endless shitty repeatin story with the main dude that never die.... (typical shounen manga..)
3rd..... fights that takes too long and manga releases so slow and by the time you read the new chapter... you have already forgotten the last.... (gantz..... tho i love the manga... its just too slow..... a bi monthly manga yet it only releases the amount a weekly would.... damn.... its been around 8 years since gantz is out yet theres only 20some volumes (not even 30!!!) wtf?!!!.... damn..... even tho its my favorite its droppin in my list now.... too freakin slow...)
4th..... basketball manga!!!!... too many basketmorons around..... (the only good one is slam dunk.... cross over is okayish.... the others are bascially... shit waste of time)
5th... too much fanservice.... damn.... freakin wtf is wrong with manga nowadays... fanservices are useless.... they just are waste of space and make the story longer.... damn... if i want... i rather go watch porn or hentai and read doujinshi or seinen manga than those useless crappy fanservices...
6th... harem that have no story in it..... all about all girls like 1 guy.... cant he just fuck them all and get them to shut up?.... harem is okay if there is actually a story in it.... like sekirei and shina dark.... those are good... but some others.... bascially.... waste my time....

although in shounen's defense it is probably because shoujo mostly consists of girls' unrequited love...over and over again...
...sadly I don't seem to get sick of it as fast as long drawn out fights or plot lines (that contain long drawn out fights).
I agree that there should be an "all of the above" vote, but probably it would win 100% 😃

I'm tired of ALL of them 🙄 seriously. There are some exceptions though, if the mangaka is clever enough.
But because I only have one choice, I voted the "Guy-ALWAYS-gets-girl". There are way too much that I'm getting sick of it.
