And then there should be categories for each anime genre. Like best shoujo, best shonen, best action, best drama etc.

Actually now that I've made these suggestions I feel like I wanna do more. If you need any help in this just ask me.

This seems like an interesting idea. You should've fleshed out the idea more in the beginning though.

I think it would be best if you listed all series that qualify.... It would be easier for people to select from that.

I still don't see the point.... we all know shows like Geass and Macross F will win most of the categories, purely because of hype and size of their fanbase.

BTW.... why does everyone like the cheesy idol soundtrack from Macross F.... I guess it's one of those things I'll never understand.

Also, I agree, what the heck is it with Macross' soundtrack? There are a lot of songs, but most of them are terrible, and they rarely even fit the scene they're in...

I'll stick to my original recommendations (see previous post on page1) ..... and add Spice and Wolf (comedy), Ghost Hound (storyline) and Gunslinger Girl -Il Teatrino (storyline).

@Crenshinibon - Totally agree with you about Kara no Kyoukai animation quality and soundtrack.... Fucking Beautiful.... The intro music from Episode 1 was pure bliss. Too bad it doesn't qualify (I think it aired in Japan early last year, but we got the RAWs quite late). I'm relieved you agree with me on Macross F's crap soundtrack.... Now I know why Paris Hilton can sell cd's.

best comedy episode : 1st episode of Druaga no To - the Aegis of Uruk, i've made this category just for this episode, overall it wasn't anything special, but first episode was something else...

but there were some really shitty anime this season...persona, ayakashi, dragonaut, rosario+vampire and many more...

i also don't understand the fuss about macross f...i've watced 5 episodes...nothing special, music sucks, characters sucks, story sucks, battle scenes are very good, but then the music srews everything...

not that bad it's more like...disappointing, i had high expectations and after first few episodes it looked good, but then it all just got irritating...i've lasted till episode 10 i think...maybe it got better, dunno...don't wanna be to opinioning and maybe do the series wrong...

what irritated me the most was that half of the episode i was trying just to see what personas looked like..you'll get the point when you start watching...
