you know how xp has a thumbnail view for folders. Back when I first got a computer, my mom saw some thumbnails sized pics of my porn. It was just regular porn, and she didn't seem as shocked or horrified as I thought she'd be. If she's seen my hentai and porn collection since, she ain't said anything about it, and I'm more than happy to oblige by not looking at it when people are around. It's a good system.

LOL. That's seriously hilarious. Oh man, if that happened to me it would be even funnier since my mom is very religious. Well, my mom found regular porn on the computer before (some mine, some not) on a number of occasions. It got progressively less severe as the incidents happened. It went from implying that I was capable of something as heinous as rape (I still resent that one part of her), to calling me a pervert, to saying I degrade women, and finally she just made it into a quick "don't do that" type lecture. She even implied that she would take me to therapy. Thinking back, I wonder what that would have been like. I'm kind of curious now. If I would have been caught in the act, I don't know how I, or she, would have reacted. I'm not sure what would have happened if she saw hentai. Interesting. It would have probably had the same effect.

I don't know how my dad would react (divorced so one doesn't effect the other). I'm sure he knows what's on the computer, but he never mentioned it once. Was almost caught once, but he didn't look too much into it, but I know he knew. It was actually kind of funny. It was like "Oh What are you doing in the computer room at 3:00am in the morning with the lights off?" "Oh. I couldn't sleep." "Oh, did you hear about the Dolphins?" "Oh yea." And it went on like that for a while until he left for work. You know how it should be. You know, I know you know, but you're not supposed to tell me you know. That's the best way to do it.

Basically, different situations, different reactions.

My parents would probably say something like "Ha! I knew it."

Your friend should have turned the tables by making it embarrassing for her family. She should have said things like "Yes, yes this is my favorite scene" and "Oh, this is my favorite pair".They probably would've stopped looking.
