well if Sasuke were to die some time soon it might be epic, or just a case of good riddance 🤢

Id say the death of
the shogun from Shigurui, that was pretty cool, hes brain spilling out and all
Just about every death in Shigurui is like that. 🤢
And I actually think it's...
Eddie in Beck... I actually remember the moment that I read it. I went to my staff forum, posted 'OMFGWTFBBQ!!! NO WAY' and in the body 'I just got this month's Monthly Shounen Magazine and WTF!!! BECK!!!!' and then I scanned it in for Stephen because no one in Japan posted the monthlies on Winny back then (if they do now). Oh man, I was freaking out all month until the next issue came... and yes... he's dead.

In terms of world altering, very few mangas have pulled it off like Beck. That really was an incredible turning point and until then I was just a fan of the manga. After that I pretty much obsessed for months (I'm man enough to admit to crying during select moments). Had my friends reading it and everything (aside from my girlfriend, I'm the only real manga fan in my band of friends... so that's a big deal for me).
I actually tried to think of another one to compare it to, but I honestly can't. Every other big death is expected. You know, a fight, or an illness, or it's just that kind of manga. I guess Touch is similar. Although it happened early enough that you really hadn't fallen in love with the character yet, so while it was surprising and sad, it just didn't have an incredibly huge impact on the reader.
MMM ... I don't know if this is going to happen-in the future-but maybe we will see naruto fighting with all his might and then...yea..you know the deal~
maybe i think it would be very sad!!
O0 AND CHRONO CRUSADE!!>< DANG!! >< i mean that has to be the saddest anime i've ever seen,i mean it was aweful and the ending-a huge Cliffhanger!!!!><
yet it was romantic=D

If you like that then read the Chrono Crusade manga, it's actually different from the anime and the ending is both happy/sad at the same time.

Dunno if it was Epic, but..
The Main bad guy from Ichi the Killer. His death was awesome.

sigh Death Note had the chance for the most epic of deaths, yet what do they do? They toss it all down the toilet w/ that pathetic excuse for an ending. The anime handled it much better.
Anyways, I'm gonna have to go w/ the ending of End of Evangelion.
Everyone turning into goo, that creepy upbeat music playing in the background, and then Unit 01 just busts through Lilith's eye and lets its corpse fall back into the ocean of amniotic waste.
For manga I'd have to go w/ Gantz:
Kei Kurono blasting away vampires w/ a psuedo light-saber. Then he regains his memories and shows how big his penis is by blowing up more vamps, only to finally be cut down (due one of the vamps distracting him w/ his little bro's severed head, might I add) right when his former teammates arrive. His wins out against Izumi's death in Gantz b/c Kei was actually the main character.

Yupyup, it was the PEAK of epic-ness. Is that a word? Whatever. The point is, my reaction was pretty much the same. 'Twas awesome, epic, and SO ANNOYING because of the wait for the next chapter...
...though every chapter is like that for me. But regardless, that death just made the wait so much more painful!

But it didn't show him dying. It may have been implied, but it is an ambiguous ending.

Aw man don't even joke about in any Bebop discussion forum/board/thread whatever. You'll get ran out of there. -_-
I here most people say he died which I feel is accurate. There were too many clues that showed he did die.

^Come on, it's based on the format of a Western. Many a western has the character severely wounded at the end, with him walking/riding off into the sunset. It's still an ambiguous ending, and therefore up to one's interpretation. For my purposes, he didn't die.
