I'm fairly pessimistic. I may seem optimistic at times but thats cause I usually expect the worst possible thing to happen and I'll say it over and over again and possibly expand on it. This causes my current view on things to not be as bad. Impending doom is often times funny to me in an odd way. Example would be I'm going out for 2 weeks to Ft. Picket in Virginia for a field exercise in a few days. I expect it to be rainy, cold, and full of stupidity. Knowing this is somewhat funny to me and I'll probably be like a drowned rat at some point and think its the funniest thing in the world.

When it comes to my friends I see everything in an optimistic light, otherwise they won;t believe me when I try saying it'll be alright, but when it comes to my own problems I'm fairly pessimistic, saying that people say I'm a very positive person when I'm not raving mad XD

I'm a girl on a mission. My mission? To read 100+ manga and have them all on my shelves one day! 😀

haha I think the same way...I don't worry about anything...it won`t change my situation. I accept things the way they are and don't let them bother me...

I voted that I'm more pessimistic than optimistic. However, I do try to be positive, and I often prefer a happy outcome most of the time. Having dysthymia and s.a.d. doesn't help though. 🙁

More optimistic than pessimistic generally, but it depends on the situations. The thing is, if you're a pessimist, you're not going to accomplish anything if you have bad feelings about it.
