I wasn't being that optimistic! You're just too pessimistic~

I'd have to say I'm more pessimistic... Ironically, when that fails (such as when I play pool or a game for the first time, I'm pessimistic), I become really optimistic. Doesn't last that long however. Usually for the first...10 minutes then things start to cahnge and I become pessimistic... repeat until event is over.

I... have no idea. I enjoy making lists of everything that could go wrong and thinking up worst case scenarios. On the flip side though, I've never suffered from depression, and may be subconsciously optimistic. Maybe I just don't take stuff seriously enough.

true. as I said, I am leaning more into being pessimistic than being optimistic, like being 70% pessimistic and 30% optimistic. I never stated that I am total pessimistic cause like you said, such people are doomed for good! plus, that part of me which is okay with being pessimistic is related to my realistic part! lol, man, this topic reminds me how much I am dark and cold! gona fetch some comedy to read and lighten up my mood!

Sometimes, I can scare people with how optimistic I am. Especially when football or elections are involved.
Generally, I'd say I'm pretty optimistic, with a few days of pessimism thrown in.

I'm an extremely optimistic person. Even when bad things do happen, there's always something you can take from it. Whether it's a lesson learned or finding something out about yourself. Life is way too short to be pessimistic.

i try to be optimistic, but it doesn't always work.

i am optimistic about myself and what i can do.

i am very pessimistic when it comes to trusting someone.

trust someone to buy you something, but midway, you figured they betrayed you, or got killed on the way bla bla bla.

I used to think I was a very negative person, and very pessimistic. See, vocally I seem very pessimistic. I don't talk about the good things as much I do the bad. I make more cynical comments than happy, but that's just because I'm very realistic and face the world as it is, unlike those who prefer ideals and delusions.

My overall outlook on life is very optimistic.

I hope for the best, and always believe I can achieve it. Despite the fact that they odds might be against me, the future has yet to be decided, so I can't say that tomorrow will be a bad day, or the years to come. I may notice people's bad qualities first, but I always attempt to seek out the good in them.

Pessimism ftw, let's all go emo and cut ourselves!! Lol, j/k. But seriously though, I'm a total pessimist... then again it's not such a bad thing... cuz if you think about it. When things are at its worst, there's nowhere else to go but up.
