Story telling of manhwa is weird, may be cause i'm used to reading manga.
some manhwa arts still rough, others are drawing beautifully.
Manga has many different genre and artstyle.
Manhwa like shin angyo onshi, bride of the water god, savage garden are good ones.

Koreans are very addicted to "beauty" in my point of view, plastic surgeon is social secret in there. So for most of shoujo manhwa they love to draw the heroine as a beautyifulperson and for some unreasonable reason, all bishies are fallin' in love with the heroine... just like harem shoujo manga.
And i hate those jjang >> gangster things.
Give me impression, all Korean teenagers proud to be a member of a gang, or female Korean is proud if her BF is a member of a gang.
