Has he even really been face to face with Chopper's monster form? At Enies Lobby, Luffy was chasing down Rob Lucci and at Sabaody Archipelago Luffy was preoccupied with Kizaru trying to run away. Unless chopper has controlled his monster form, which is very possible, Luffy may be the one to tame him.

well, now we know who the new crew mate is, the kraken! I still think Laboon is better, LABOON FTW!! (no offense to the Kraken)

i dont think he is considered a crewmate though...he will prob only be here for this arc if not just until they get to fishman island

simple the kraken has reasoning skills, he feels fear and can understand luffy

the rampage mode of chopper is just that blind rampage, he looses all sernse of self and reasoning smashing everything he sees "Chopper....SMASH" : D

Not to mention Luffy DID NOT have the ability to control his haki at will during Chopper's rampage in the Enies Lobby arc.

he was nowhere near chopper in enies lobby so even if he could he has never seen monster chopper before except for like a brief second at shabondy when they were attacked by kizaru if he was even able to see him in all that crazyness
