This chapter was awesome.

Lilynette being able to talk and still act snappy as a gun, that "Cero Metorajetta" move Stark whipped out, Shunsui actually rushing in to attack instead of talking first, Ukitake using a move that seems similar to a cero...it all was pretty good.

So I guess it's about 7 more chapters until the next good one. 🤣

Edit: Is it just me, or does Stark now look like a cross between a pirate and a cowboy?

And it was an alright chapter. But yeah, seeing the top honchos fight is pretty awesome. Shunsui and Ukitake double-team is invincible! But wow, so that means that Yamamoto is even stronger than Stark, and then some! O_O;

I'm pretty pissed off. How can both Kyoraku and Shunsui fight the released 1st Espada with only their shikai? Obviously the top 3 Espada are holding back right now, but why all the delaying? Weren't they here to destroy Karakura town? Why is Aizen taking a nap? Is he really that helpless? Did the Vaizards get lost? I now realize that Bleach just can't be read weekly. I should probably stop for a few months.

And I still can't come to terms with the way Ichigo + Bankai + Hollow mask barely beat Espada 6, while Kenpachi + kendo beat Espada 5, Byakuya + calm/cool beat Espada 7.
It just makes NO sense. Hitsugaya and Soi Fon should've been dead by now. They shouldn't have even had a chance. Kyoraku and Shunsui are strong but not even bankai? C'mon...

I like Bleach but in this arc there is just no consistency at all !!! You guys remember when Grimmjow attacked Karakura town? Hitsugaya barely beat an Arrancar who wasn't even an Espada. All the shinigami even admitted that when their limiters were released the Arrancar were just off guard...

🤣 I don't think they can help it... It's probably part of their sword release and all. Spirit particles... was it? Anyway it's all just there out of the convenience of not having them fight naked. Remember DBZ how Goku's shirt always got blown away but his pants stayed where they are?

Simply put Bleach and 'sense' are mutually exclusive. It is impossible to make any sense of Bleach at this point. So when reading bleach it is important to think of the battles as separate events which are not part of the continuity of the plot (assuming of course that there is still a plot to all this). So when kenpachi + kendo defeated the no. 5 espada there is no point in trying to use logic to make any sense of it. Just enjoy the fight and move on. The same with Toshiro defeating Harribel (assuming Harribel is dead). The fact
that Toshiro was nearly killed by a fraccion doesn't make a difference.

In short don't try and use logic when reading Bleach. It's just not worth it.

This chapter was pretty good. The small talk between shunsui and stark always makes me smile. Normally I hate it when characters spend half the battle talking but if shunsui and stark were to spend the entire fight just talking to each other I would still find it pretty entertaining.

Yeah I guess your right.
I'll give up trying to use logic.
Best keep the fights as separate events.

It was a good chapter. Still wondering if Stark was lying about only being able to shoot ceros

considering shunsui and ukitake has the solely unique shikais..
why not have their bankais be unique as well?
like its a unity bankai, formed from 2 people,,, i dont know if this sounds stupid, but in comparison to have those espadas having similar concept, considering the author is matching opponents with similar themes to fight one another...

considering shunsui and ukitake is always together for some unknown reason whenever they fight, and how they view their justice the same way, kind of back in soul society....

but this is just some jumbled wild guess.... 🙄

wow, alright i have misgivings with starks' release, he looks like a cowboy with a twist what with the 2 pistols, a pointed shoes and an elvis prestley-like get-up. but well, i was so surprise by a huge (or was it multiple) ceros it can shoot. However for me what really made my day is ukitake backing up shunsui. so they are going to fight 2 on 2 now, that would be cool. also so that the vaizards can also get an air time after all the vice captain and captains finished fighting.

however couldn't tite be more obvious with the pairing of the characters who will fight. somehow they all have the same type of power, like for halibel vs. hitsugaya fight. why didn't tite just pair her to fight yoruichi , so we can see girl on girl action. on the other hand, i can agree with stark and shunsui pairing since they have the same characteristics, lazy but powerful,, but then again is it too much to ask for stark to have a different release?. Or if it's not stark's release i hope, shunsui's bankai is not as similar as stark's.

well tite may explain this pairing maybe by telling us that aizen knows the bankai of each of the captain in soul society and have created arrancars who have the same or similar power as these captain. 😛

well... only the part where lilynette was talking about the parts of the gun that corresponded to her body parts

i read this chapter earlier and have to say that i came in my pants. That shit was just crazy. now we have to wait and see what his other gun does, what the attack ukitake used was and if the other captain is gonna release his bankai. that would just be a treat for all the readers.

When i saw the cero go back at stark i was kinda hoping that it was the vizards. but i guess thats just wishful thinking for the moment.

Everyone knew that the gun was going to shoot super strong ceros at a fast rate. We also knew that white haired captain was going to join in the battle.

The action was cool (i guess). The small parts of the story are starting to get repetitive, and consequently predictable.
