when ace died i couldn't help it. just tearing up and having my chest tighten like this series had always done but that but when ace died i was truly weeping as if i had last something too.

to the guy who said what he did. responding to you was my intention but i really don't want to think of whatever undignified things i might have said after remember those chapters. please dont disrespect everyones genuine feelings as if you were ignorant.

Chopper's story and Robin's during the Water 7 arc really made me cry. Beside that, only when the crew was saying goodbye to Merry made me shed a lot of tears.

When Nami repeatedly stabbed herself in the arm with a knife during the Arlong arc. Then Luffy comes up to her and places his hat on her head. That was a masterful moment.

Also Robin's past. (Shes one of my favorite characters)

I never cried but came close to it

For me, the saddest part has got to be the ennis lobby arc. Robin's backstory was heart wrenching. I cried when everyone was on the top of the building and she shouted that she wanted to live.

I think I cried at nearly everyone's backstory, especially Nami's and Robin's. I also cried at this scene http://eatmanga.com/index.php/Manga-Scan/One-Piece/One-Piece-216/017.jpg?action=big&size=original when Vivi left them. There's probably tons more- I know I cry more with this manga than nearly any other. Oda is a master at heartbreak, I suppose. ^^

I was expecting to be bawling when Ace died, but even though I got teary-eyed and he was one of my favorite characters, I was more furious than anything else, haha.

I cried when Robin re-tracked her thoughts & screamed she wanted to live, then when Merry "died" (I cried more during the anime), the scene of when Garp was back home in Luffy's hometown & was confronted by Dadan, and then when Luffy realized that he had his nakama. 😢

Don't do crying, but it was really sad when Ace died.
When Robin wanted to live, and when sad flashbacks/memories of their lives,
such as when Nami's 'mother' died/stabbing arm.
Saying goodbye to going Merry. All sad moments.

Can't remember anything else atm c:

Zoro's flashback when he was young was kinda touching.
Though Robins past and Merry Go took the crown at making me sad to many things going on at once.
Sadly didn't cry.

Merry's last moment... Definitely the most touching scene... Ace's dead was second...

I cried at Brook's back story. Quartet... Trio... Duo... Solo...

Reread the series again recently so i am redoing it. Gonna keep my top as merry's death. Then there is a Zoros promise, nami slashing her tattoo, ace's death, Brooks and his crew's final party, zoro's sacrifice to save fluffy, the true story on liar norland, and when zeff cannibalizing his leg to save Dannie. Oh and maybe when luffy fails to "save" the crew. All of these were either close call or full tears XP.

@lamewad just reading that almost made me tear up again x.x...

It's quite funny ,actually, since it had always been easier for me to cry when reading something or with someone else, rather that for my own, problems.
