| One of a Kind, terrifically innovating. by spyderred on July 1st, 2010, 10:32pm |

Only reason I don't rate it 10 is because it is just a one shot. This story had the potential to be a GREAT series in my opinion. Basically, a story about a piano, but the piano is seen all the way as a cute girl and along her life she is played by several people, with different backgrounds and piano pieces, but always misleading somehow in "is she really just a piano?". The drawings are terrific in its own style giving a great feel to it according to the story subject. A peaceful read, I highly recommend it, especially if you take some time reading it by listening to each song that is mentioned in the story. And if you like pianos, like me.

...I'm going to give this manga a ten.
In so few pages, a beautiful plot with actual meaning was laid out perfectly. It was easy to follow, while not being too simple, and the artwork was divine. Very refreshing to read. I really recommend this manga. |

| My favorite of the one-shots. by Doki on February 1st, 2010, 2:45pm |

Out of the series of Nakamura Asumiko's colored one-shots, this one is trult my favorite. The story is as short as the others, but packs an emotional wallop the others don't. The entire story is unique and beautifully illustrated.

i practically love this... it made me think actually because as a person who also plays the instrument...what if the piano is actually a person?? then they would be able to judge you right?? man, i just love this!!! an instrument's life is really longer than that of a person... i just love it!!!

This story is strange, sweet and simple. Beautiful and clean artwork. The plot of the human world being viewed by a piano as she moves through the lives of different people is unique and very touching.

This one manga is quite interesting. It's truely a short one, but it's no problem for its delicate sense and pace. The story is very original - a piano being represented as a girl. It doesn't have a plot at all: it's all about the feelings, as the manga tries to make us sense the same as our main character does. It's a very short oneshot, and I recommend everyone to give it a try.

Wow. I don't know what to say about this, other than being just one of the most memorable oneshots I have ever read.
One of a kind, and so unique, I re-read it over so many times in one sitting (unheard off, coming from me!) but I just enjoyed it so much.
What makes it so incredible, I think, is the depth of emotional portrayed in the piano. It just felt to incredibly human, that I had sometimes forgotten what it really was in the first place.

I'm a Pianist myself... so couldn't miss this one whether it was good or bad...
However, after finishing it, I felt that it was something I've never come across. One of a kind.
Amazing personification of a Piano. I never imagined actually, that a piano could be personified at all!! And Personified with amazing array of emotions.
Somehow, given the size of this one shot, this one get's all the rave rating I can give...

On my way through some oneshots i came along this one. The piano is so cute Nice artwork and an unique plot. How would a scene with a piano tuner look like? Makes me wonder >:-)

There was one old piano in my dance school. It was barely used, since it was old enough to be called great great grandma. But I somehow never forgotten it. Strange.
