My step mom just gave birth to a baby boy, and my dad decided to give the little guy X as his middle name. It is not short for anything, it is just X. So, I am a little curious about what he will think of that when he grows up.

Ken, yeah it's just a form of my real name but I like t a lot.

I like my name, since it's not very common and my parents spelled it wrong, so it makes it even more uncommon... Though, if I could choose, I'd like the name Sage. I've always liked that name. And if I were a guy...Leo.

if i was a boy, i would be luke or lee
But with Luke there would be all these "Luke Skywalker" references, right?
And with Lee as a first name, maybe lots of people would think it's your last name?
🤣 😉
Depends on ethnicity of the person named Lee. I've had some African-American friends with their first name being Lee.
If I had to change my name, I'd get rid of my first legal name since most people I know call me by my Middle name. I also like the name Loki or Max, though Loki does kind of have a bad story behind the name. If I was a girl, I'd like the name Iris.

if the surname was Time, it would be awesome to name the baby Justin... Justin Time AHahahHAHAhAHA 🤣

That is pure aweosme, I always would want to be called by my middle name if that were me.

Wow, so many topics about names... well, everyone knows how I feel about my name (I don't hate it... I guess it just kinda grew on me. But I still think it's waaay too uncommon here. Right, gotta move to Germany! 😁 ), but, well, if I could change it...I don't know. I really like the names Elena, Camilla, and Vittoria (they're the names I picked out, as of now, for any future kids...)... but... somehow, I really can't picture myself bearing any of these.
As a matter of fact, I can't picture myself with any name other than my own.
Oh, but if I'd been born in America (or any other English-speaking country), I'd definitely want to be named Dawn or Summer or May (yeah, I know, common and overrated and whatever... but I really like them! If I marry an anglophone, I am sooo naming my kid one of these!!)

Well, I like my name, so I don't think I'll change it. But, if I was a guy it'll probably a one syllable unique name (my fetish).

Dawn is pretty common, but I've rarely met up with anyone named Summer & I can't remember EVER meeting a "May" (since it's my birth month, I do think I'd remember it 😀 ).
Edit - forgot to say, I do live in the US.

Ehh, my name is about as plain as you can get. I don't think I'd change it, though, because the name I'd change it to is the one I'm planning on naming my son; Seph. Daughter would be named Kayliana. But as of yet, I don't even have a steady girlfriend, so kids are kinda out there.
I've actually met three girls names May. Haven't seen a single Dawn or Summer though. Quite a few Aprils. Also, one February. I kid you not. Though she was pretty much always called Feb. Still different.

Wow, a February? That's rare.
I did know a super nice girl who was named Autumn, though. After I met her, Autumn became like my favorite name for a while (but it was funny, cause she was born in Spring...) 🤣

I know an autumn as well. The weirdest one I've come across by far is Evening. I've heard of Dawn... but Evening? I think it's too much a stretch 🙄 . It could've been worse... she could've been named Dusk...

My mom was going to name me Iris, but my dad wanted GILLIAN. Who names their girl Gillian?!?! I want to be named Iris. Sarah is too common of a name.
