Choosing a name..

My parents told me that if I were a guy I would have been named Cessar (thank gawd I wasn't!) Sounds like an old man's name. If I had a sister, they would have named her Caress. Poor hypothetical sister. Heh, we'll all have the same letters in our first name.
If I were to rename myself as a guy (supposing I became a female to male transvestite), I would take Marco. All Marcos I've met are cute.

For Kiwi, my boys came up with:
"Kiwi the peewee" and "hey Kiwi, can I eat you?"
(That second one...depending on the age & intention of the person saying it... >_> )

Hey, I'm just pointing out the hazards! 🤣
My name would fit right in, in Japan...too bad it doesn't in the US. 😔

lol, what name? tofuqueen?
lemme see, its kinda out of this thread, more like the other name thread, but:
my chinese name has two interpretations:
-
sky and earth(like mother earth), a balance of forces, based on yin yang thoughts
-
the heavenly principal of women XD, or the heavenly "runner" of women (cough pimp)

She's going to get mad at you for that when she reads it, Israfel. 🙂
Now I'm curious about TofuQueen's name... wonder what it could be? Celery? Spinach? Carrot? Penguin?

LOL, no, nothing that bad, my parents weren't cruel! 🤣
I'm not going to tell my name, but I will say that it's a universal (or pretty darn close) nature word. I do hear of others with the same name, but only rarely (and they're always younger than I am).
Even though I like my name, I didn't want my kids to have to put up with the stupid comments, so they both have more "normal" names.

Noooo! You're Mushu! Bob-Mushu!
😮 Is it just me or you sounded like a hypocrite just now for making fun of someone else's name?
@TofuQueen: It can't be Forest (it's pretty common for a guy right?). Is it Gaea? Earth? 🤣
Gaea seems like a pretty name, I think I'll name my kid that.
erm...who's name did i make fun of?

Well, I love my name because my parents gave it to me.. with my first middle name I was given my grandda's (mom's dad) name .. and for my second middle name I was given my older brother's (who passed away) name so those are one's I definitely wouldn't change. I just hate how most people assume I'm a boy by my names 😢 And well.. if I HAD been a boy (which I assumed I was until I was actually born) I wouldn't have to worry bout another one.
If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.
