What do you mean by "comic manuscript"?

Pulled from wikipedia:
"Scholars disagree on the definition of comics; some claim its printed format is crucial, some emphasize the interdependence of image and text, and others its sequential nature. The term as a reference to the medium has also been disputed."

To me, a webcomic is just a story told with combined images and text that is published primarily on the web. I don't think that the method of creation, whether digital or hand drawn and scanned, is important in defining a webcomic. If you just drew a couple of stick figures, tacked on some humourous dialogue, and then posted it to the net, I'd call it a webcomic.
