This year's 51st issue of Weekly Shonen Jump has announced on Monday that HOSHINO Katsura has put her D.Gray-man supernatural adventure manga on hold due to her health. The magazine has not announced when D.Gray-man will return.

I thought something was up since it's been on and off every other week, glad to know they put out a statement for it.

honestly to me the chapters were getting worse and wrose to read. The storyline is getting weaker to the climax. I hope she gets better soon 🙂 To provide us with a grander plot/ending~

isnt hoshino katsura a woman

I have a hard time beliving the mangaka is actually a woman...maybe the mangaka is, but the extras at the end of the volumes (especially one of them) really makes it seem like the mangaka is actualy a guy >_>. Anways, sad news this be, lets just hope that the mangakas health isnt that that bad, as im sure nobody wants to see anouther Hunter x Hunter happen here.

Then the extras are deceiving, because the pictures in the volumes (particularly recent ones) pretty much say so, not to mention the fact that she's revealed herself in public... and is pretty obviously female. Official fact now.

Of course, it's absolutely terrible that Hoshino's sick again, and here's hoping she recovers fully as soon as possible.

Please, don't jinx the project by even mentioning HxX >.<

i really hope hoshino gets better! it makes me kind of worried whenever my favorite mangakas get sick >< let's all hope that she gets better!! =)
