Overall, not much happened either, I'm not sure how will Konohamaru fight, so chances Naruto will finally be back soon are high, or else it's the turn to the other teams to finally show up.

and I wonder how Naruto is going to save him... probably Tsunade, but Naruto? seems a long shot if you ask me... but it wouldn't be the first time this manga lets me down

Nope. I also want Konohamaru dead too haha =]. But I bet someone's going to save him[obviously], and although it's a longshot, Naruto MIGHT save him, but I doubt it. Probably someone from the village will, Konohamaru can't match up with Pein even if he had the sharingan and kyubi in him...

I vote that Ino's dad will die next. He really didn't do that much in the story to be missed by anyone other than Ino herself and probably some of those other ninjas that help him enter minds.

But wasn't that nice of the "Hell Realm" Pain ninja to take away those two Konoha ninjas' tapeworms on page 04? And they didn't even want to tell him where Naruto was. For shame! 🤣

Seriously, if Konohamaru attacks Pein (or is it Pain? 😕 ) with some supposedly serious attack, well...he's not going to make it out alive (or is he?)

On the other hand, if he uses his...ummm...feminine charm, maybe Pein's a pervert? 😲

Actually I think konohamaru has a pretty good chance against this pain.
Each pain has his own abilities and this pain looks less menacing than the others.

The flashback of naruto saying to kono "I wanna theach you this new technique"... who knows .. kage bunshin? maybe even rasengan? Kono is the third's grandson so he shouldn't be underestimated too much... even though he's completly naruto-like 😀
Anyway I vote he'll put up some sort of fight, usefullness ~

Pretty good chapter imo though; some good flashbacks that serve as naruto being 'accepted'. I still think Naruto's gonna participate in this pain thing. I wouldn't be surprised if he wouldn't but still.... Learn to gather that natural energy while moving already naruto ^^

daaang...nothing's really happening right now.
But I thought it was really touching about how Naruto wasn't accepted in the beginning, but as time went, he became more and more important, thus people started to accept him, and they all want to protect him. T^T so touching.
I hope Naruto comes soon!

Manga is my Life!

I think this was a great chapter, its the first time in awhile they've made any allusions to the past. It really reminded me why I still bother reading this in the first place.

I think everything going on right now, is all just fodder for the big time freak-out/ power-up we are gonna see when Naruto hears about the destruction of Konoha. I am guessing this is finally gonna push him to get serious and act like an adult, and the happy go lucky kid hes always been will be gone for quite some time.

I also really enjoyed seeing Naruto's story through the eyes of someone who wasnt there to witness it firsthand. I always thought it was funny how he never really got much recognition for all the crazy stuff hes been through.

i can see this happening completely actually. from the looks of it, Naraku Pain, doesn't seem to be an offensive fight type of Pain's bodies. it's likely Konohamaru could handle this one with Ebisu if he's still able to fight.... maybe. after all he did bring all the others he interrogated down somehow. so i guess we'll have to see how this plays out.

I have a feeling konohamaru shouldnt be underestimated. he's probably got some moves... though that doesnt change the fact that he's gonna get the crap beaten out of him 🙂
