I predicted I wouldn't see Ichigo's fullbring this chapter, when something important is going to happen in Bleach the autor makes clear that it will happen

For example, Last chapter he was running from the bear, so this chapter had two options

  1. He keeps running from the bear while the other characters talk
  2. He keeps running from the bear while the other characters talk and start his fullbring in the end

The first one wouldn't happen because the chapter would get bad rates and some people might even stop reading for some time, or atleast won't feel motivated to read the next chapter, if in the next chapter nothing VERY cool happened more people would drop.
The second one is ideal, Tite made us read a full chapter with no content and yet we want to see the next chapter, the next chapter something very cool will happen and we will have our hopes up again...

The cool part is that I never get tired of being deceived

Now that you say that, that pretty much what's been happening with Bleach for almost the entire manga's run. Just look back at some of the early chapters (Especially when Ichigo was trying to save Rukia) and see how they end.

Just because someone's head was chopped off doesn't mean they're dead. That's just silly.

Btw, do you remember when ishida got cut down in chapter 429?
If i remember correctly it was the group of fullbring users that did it
or was that just my idea?
If it wasn`t my idea though why the hell did they do it? I was thinking that maybe Kubo intented them to be enemies and then he changed his mind or something. Any opinions on this?

Get on with it man! Freaking Kubo... Just comparing the pacing and content of One Piece chapters against Bleach makes me cringe! Last week Zoro was about to fight Neptune and this week Neptune was already beaten... and we didn't even see it! But we didn't need to anyway.

I was thinking the exact same.
Besides, If Zoro could take out King Neptune and his royal guard without a scratch, then it might've been a fight worth skipping.

My thoughts exactly, except worded better.
@loosecannon - We can just conclude that Neptune is too old to put up a fight. Plus there's just no need to see Zoro kick ass yet... The Straw Hats will fight the new Fishmen Pirates soon enough. I doubt anyone will pose much of a challenge to them before they even get to the New World...

LOL Oh snap! Forgot about this. But seriously Kubo is very fickle so you shouldn't even be surprised. There's so many plot holes and unexplained things that I stopped paying attention a long time ago. Besides Ishida has been a weak and pointless character ever since he managed to beat Kurotsuchi Mayuri.
