Beware! A few days ago I got a message from a person called logirl2. She seemed nice, harmless person who wanted to have a chat with me, and asked my email adress. Then this girl who called herself Philomina in the mail started to tell me about her life and that she desperately needed money.In the next mail she gave me a phone number and several other things like bank accounts and fax numbers, begging me to call and transfer money from her late fathers bank account to her. She even gave a "picture of herself" to avoid suspects. At that time I realized that this person was an imposter, using modern technology to cheat money out of me. Im pretty sure that if I had called the number she gave, my phone bills would be out of this world. Beware for cheaters, minna-san!!

I got a message from her about two weeks ago saying we could have a good relationship together, said I was interesting. I replied:
thank you for your well-written, if ambiguous, letter. i do not mean to sound rude or redundant, but i must ask if you are male or female. if you are female, i must inform you that i am as well and will have no interest in anything other than a normal friendship between us. if you are male, then i will agree to begin a casual friendship. exchanging emails seems like a sudden thing to do with someone i've never had contact with before, and i think we should stay fourm friends for a while before making the jump. email addresses are the new telephone numbers-never give them to someone you might never want to meet. i am grateful for your letter, and hope that it would be possible for us to be friends. have a nice day!
