That's why I actually started reading romance manga. Although, until the arrancar arc Bleach could have made a very good shounen romance manga, but that possibility seems pretty far gone now.

Damn, why the hell does everyone hate Orihime? I personally like her...and not just because of her breasts!

And action and romance go hand in hand. There's nothing that will enrage someone or give them the will to fight like a lover in danger, injured or killed. Now don't get me wrong. I don't mean overt romance like in shoujo animes, but some touching scenes here and there would help to break up the action a bit. The biggest thing I hate about shounen anime is that most of them is ALL action ALL the time and it just gets boring as hell. You can only watch a guy whoop ass so many times before it begins to bore me.

I haven't gone that far into the series. I'm in the mid 80's as far as episodes go, so I don't know who Nel is. My pairings are:

Ichigo & Orihime
Renji & Rukia
Yoruichi & Urahara
Uryu/Chad & Whoever the hell is left 😀
